Koji Sakurai (櫻井弘二)

Koji has been based in Taiwan since 1993. His works span the realms of popular music and the performing arts, with a particular expertise in fusing cross-disciplinary materials.

Initially, Koji arrived in Taiwan primarily to arrange and produce pop albums. Later, a serendipitous opportunity led him into the performing arts scene, marking the beginning of his collaborations with outstanding local musicians and performing arts groups.

He was invited to serve as the Music Director for the opening ceremonies of both "The World Games Kaohsiung" and the "Taipei Universiade (FISU)."

Currently, Koji is appointed as the Resident Composer for the Ju Percussion Group and also serves as a resident columnist for "OPENTIX."
